July 2008 - Matt and his Motorbike

Matt's brother, Jim, came up from the US and they did a lot of riding together, around Prince George, back to Washington, and around the Walla Walla area. They took Jon on some of the local rides.

Their camping gear just fit on the backs of their bikes!

July 2008 - Paper Route Boy

An evening of fun by the Nechako River with Caslin and her cousin Brynn.

Jon started his Free Press paper route in late June and has delivered it twice a week ever since then. He's not one to part easily with his well-earned paycheque either!

July 2008 - A Trip to Barkerville

Jon found the gold panning and stream exploring to be the best parts of Barkerville. The schoolhouse seemed rather on the small side in his opinion!

June 2008 - Eloise's Birthday Party at the Farm

June 2008 - Matt's Kawasaki

This is the Kawasaki KLR 650 which Matt purchased in June. He put many miles on it over the summer, including a trip to the US with his brother. He absolutely loves getting on the road (or offroad!) on this bike.

Late May 2008 - The Leaves Arrive!

The leaves and blossoms finally did arrive, although much later than usual! This is a shot of Moore's Meadow right near our house and of the apple tree in our back yard.

May 2008 - First Cabin Visit for the Year

We headed out for our first cabin weekend in late May this year, but the leaves still hadn't come out because the spring had been so cool. This didn't stop Jon and his friend Kyle from having fun on the lake (and on a small island in the middle of it).

May 2008 - Hobbies

This spring, Matt and his friend Todd each purchased an electric scooter for commuting around the city. These scooters hardly make a sound and go about 35 km/hr. Matt has really enjoyed this new form of transportation.
