A Day at Purden Ski Hill

Jon and I spent a great day with the Oster-Reas at Purden yesterday. The spring skiing conditions were excellent!

Spring Arrives in PG

As you can see, there's still a wee bit of snow here in PG. The tulips and daffodils haven't arrived quite yet!

Jon's 10th Birthday

Jon had his 10th birthday party at the Treasure Cove waterslide again this year; the kids had a great time in the water while the adults were able to relax with some complimentary Starbucks.

Jon Prepares for the Heritage Fair

Jon has spent many hours over the last few weeks preparing his Heritage Fair project titled "Canadians Liberate Holland." It portrays a history of the occupation of Holland during WW II and how the Canadians liberated the country in 1945. There are a lot of interesting anecdotes from Opa & Oma too. He'll be presenting it next week at his school's Heritage Fair.

A Beautiful Skiing Day at Tabor Mountain

Jon and I headed out to Tabor Mountain with Marilisa and Adam this morning for a day on the slopes. As you can see, the views were stunningly beautiful!

From Sand to Snow...

Matt just spent the last hour snowblowing a pile of snow from today's blizzard conditions in Prince George. What a contrast from the desert! And thank goodness for snowblowers!

A Few Scenes from Sky Valley

Here are a couple of scenes of the ponds in Sky Valley. Matt and I hiked up a big hill in front of the park the other day; you can see it as a dark green oasis in the distance.
