Purpose of This Blog

The main reason I have decided to keep this blog is because I'd like to have a record of what our family is doing throughout the year. Usually I'm quite diligent about keeping in touch with everyone at Christmas each year, but in 2007 I didn't manage to send any Christmas letters. Sorry everyone!

This, therefore, is my attempt at keeping family and friends posted, and I will try to update it on a monthly basis. After creating a blog about quilting this summer, I realized this is possible.

Over the next week, my plan is to create a number of entries which review the end of 2007 and most of 2008. This will be, in essence, our "Christmas card" on an ongoing basis. I hope you enjoy it!
